Display
Apple Watch SE still has the same case design, but now has a matching back made of composite nylon material, making it even lighter. The 44mm model has a 368x448 pixel display and the 40mm model has a 324x394 pixel display.
 
Battery
The Apple Watch SE 2022 has a battery life of 18 hours. Wearing the Apple Watch for two days in a row is feasible, provided the Apple Watch is not worn at night. When the Apple Watch is worn at night, the Apple Watch will last more than a day and a half.
 
Design
With rounded edges, the design of the Apple Watch SE 2022 remains largely the same as the previous SE model. The aluminum material also remains the same. The Apple Watch SE 2022 is available in three case colors: midnight, starlight and silver.
 
Sleep measurement
A good night's sleep is essential for good health. The sleep phases allow you to see how long your core sleep, REM sleep and deep sleep have lasted.
 
Fall detection and SOS emergency notification
Apple Watch Series SE 2022 keeps an eye on your safety. With fall detection, SOS emergency notification and crash detection, you can quickly call for help if necessary. SOS emergency notification requires a cellular network connection, or Wi-Fi calling must be enabled in combination with an internet connection via your Apple Watch or your iPhone that is nearby.
 
Water resistance
The Apple Watch SE 2022 can be used for activities in shallow water such as swimming in a pool or the sea. Apple Watch SE is not suitable for scuba diving, water skiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion in deep water.
 
When you start a swimming workout, Apple Watch automatically locks the screen with Water Lock to prevent accidental taps. When you're done, turn the Digital Crown to unlock the screen and remove any water from your Apple Watch. You'll hear tones and may feel some water on your wrist.
